A neighbor down the street lives on what was the original ranch house site from the 1800s. I finally talked her into letting me detect but was limited to a small strip of weedy land about 20' x 40'.
The weeds are rather stiff and swinging was not easy. The key, token and wheat cents were all at about the same depth of 5-6 inches. I was sure there would be a silver in there somewhere, and may still be, just have to go back when the weeds are gone.
The two clothing accessories were the last targets I found and were at around 8 inches down. The piece with the 'Bat' wings hooks together and has loops on the back of each wing. The two pieces were about ten feet apart and were obviously silver plated, over copper plating, over brass.
Any ideas on what this was would be appreciated.

The bat wing item appears to have a Greek Goddess depiction, with bat wings. My only guess would be Erinyes. I don’t want to type it all out but can probably be found easily on -line. Bats were associated with women in Egyptian culture also, but this looks Greek; IMO.🍀
