Picked up another painting...I'm going to assume "starving artist" until I id otherwise. Looks like the Tetons maybe. Artist signature begins with N ends with th...any input? It's large, on a 36" canvas. Actually, a very nice painting. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1490050800.727324.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1490050814.980382.webp

Definitely a starving artist sale item. Purely decorative.

You in Gunnison by any chance? Saw a painting just like this in the thrift store there.

looks like someone had taken a bob ross class. I see the tree thats "our little secrete"

One time on Sixty Minutes they did a story on a Chinese guy who does these starving artist paintings. I think it takes him about 5 minutes to do one like above. He uses only sponges and tiny artist trowels. No paintbrushes. He has a roll of toilet paper that he uses to wipe the paint off the trowel every time he switches paint. Trowel for tree trunks, mountains, etc., sponge for leaves.
