Hello my name is Aldy and I live in Gloucestershire UK and in retirement I enjoy looking for interesting and useful items. Having recently acquired a small cupboard with some age and presenting as a campaign piece of furniture I am intrigued by the pull out section on the right which appears to have no purpose.The cupboard has brass campaign style rebated handles and screw on legs which appear to be original. Would appreciate your thoughts as to age and in particular the purpose of the pull out section
