I don't know anything about civil war relics in Eastern Ky but i know you
can find arrowheads anywhere. The best place is in plowed fields after
a good rain. Good luck Miner.

Try the State forums also.

I don't know what part of eastern Ky your in, but I used to find arrowheads in Cynthiana by the river in the tobbacco field next to Wal-Mart off Paris Pike. There were hundreds of broken pieces everywhere. But like Deno said any plowed field is a good place to start. I found a couple minnie balls by sight in local fields when I lived in Georgetown. When I lived in Morgan county I found a point or two in the creek that crosses Hwy 460 just outside of Ezel heading towards West Liberty.

Thanks for the info guys. The areas around me are lawrence county,Johnson county,Martin County,Floyd and Pike. If anybody has anymore information on these areas I would be grateful. I am new and would like to try to find my first Arrowhead. I also live by the Tug River and Big Sandy. I have been trying to find some information around local but not having much luck. Thanks to all ..Miner
