Another mystery piece I need help with

I'm always amazed by the knowledge on this page. I found this in a local park with my AT Pro. It rings up a solid 77 which puts it in brass or copper usually. It look like maybe a piece off of furniture or ( this is a long shot ) part of an odd key. As always thanks for your help and I love the fact that 99.9% of the time someone knows exactly what it is. Hopefully I will be able to one day return the favor and help someone solve their mystery find.
