I had a little play time today in the New Jersey Pine Barrens. My recon paid off. I found another virgin site. I was hoping to find a few coins but had to settle for a some buttons, a shoe buckle, and lead pencils. When I got home and checked the buttons I was happy to see a rare MONROE back mark. I had found another one a few months ago about 5 miles away. They are both the same variety and are 1820's President Monroe campaign buttons. The front is blank. Maybe I can find a few more for my dress shirt!
