From this website: Antique Train Button Necklace Vintage by CompassRoseDesign This vintage button is made with an antique Swedish train button I found at an antique fair - set on a brass filigree filigree victorian setting - sophisticated, simple and luscious - with a hint of analog wanderlust. This button dates to between 1895 and 1920, and is a real antique object - it has only one tiny spot in addition to the antique patina to show in its many years of use, rather amazing!

I dug a very similar button at an early 1900s church today. I think it came off a pair of Big Jack Hawk overalls from what I can gather. It’s pretty crusty on the back!
