Another Little Indian Rescued

Looks like that one was found in a nice dry area. Its in great shape. Most of the ones up here in Vermont look pretty rough when they come to light. Nice one...Lance

Good job! I found one last weekend. Only my fifth so far. I had even been thinking how I hadn't found an IH in about 2 years and next thing I know it popped it's head out of the ground. Found it in a well hunted park about 2 inches down. Mine is a 1904. HH.

Thanks everyone. It seems like Indians like cool damp ground. I only find them in the spring or fall

sweet...i've only got one indian head in my collection. a 1904 i belive ( i could be wrong) Didnt find it with a detector as i have never owned one. Instead i rented a house with a garage and was out cleaning the garage up a bit after i first moved in (deal was i cleaned all the garbage out of the garage for some money off the rent:)) and afterwards noticed a loose board in the wall so i popped it off with the plans to nail it back on and sitting inside was a small leather pouch. i opened it up and it was full of pennies and nickles and small change i rummaged though it and found a few weaties and that old indian head. landlord was a buddy of mine and he said it wasnt his and i could have it. i ended up getting about $15 worth of change an IH and a few weaties.
