DEMOCRATIC (go figure) Senator from Louisiana, Mary Landrieu, in a discussion about a border fence was trying to point out how "dumb" another politician's fence idea was and made this statement about the "smart" fence her and Mc Cain wanted to build.... "A smart fence which is what Senator McCain and I want to build – since he’s from Arizona, I think he knows more about this than the Senator from South Dakota, who only has a border with Canada that is quite different. "
This is like the Democrat from Milwaukee that didn't think Arizona bordered Mexico. The ignorance of this entire party is APALLING!!....In EVERYTHING they undertake!! I'm ashamed, for the first time in my life, of my ENTIRE government. :( Please don't try to talk badly of third world leaders to me anymore, I'd prefer some of them to what we have. No superpower can remain a superpower for very long with the super stupid running the country. This "lady" probably wants to do away with barrel shrouds on guns also to help protect the innocent. Just plain ignorance to the tenth power!

PB ,

Unfortunately I bet you 50% of adult America could not name the states correctly that border Canada or Mexico, much less the order E to W or W to E and probably higher percentage of HS graduates couldn't name them....

Yeah, and South Dakota is above North Dakota on the map. These people will blindly pass dumba$$ laws for a few years and then get great pensions and medical etc. for the rest of their lives at taxpayer expense. Don't people usually have to contribute to our society in a POSITIVE way to earn that much? Not just a ship of fools sailing on a sea of ignorance contributing nothing meaningful to the world?

well...to speak to ignorance...the republican national committee has sent me a survey...
" after compiling an modeling information for the thousands of activists in our database, you were selected to represent voters in your area in the OFFICIAL 2013 Republican Platform."

saywhat? model? compiling?...
"miles of piles of files of your forefathers fruit..."

don't know which is worse...being called an activist or a republican...in the same run on sentence...or, that they mistook me for a republican...
this survey is amazing...loaded questions, answers that don't fit what they called questions...{it is multiple choice}
they also demand I sign and send the survey back...as it is an OFFICIAL REPUBLICAN PARTY DOCUMENT...the only place to sign is part of the credit card section...hummmm?

Hard telling who sent that to you canyon but I bet it wasn't an elected to office, law making official member of the senate. This dumba$$ I'm speaking of IS one.

Who knows canyon, Holder himself may have sent that to you in an attempt to identify right wing extremists! :) He doesn't play by the rules you know?

SC, I would be just as offended if I got it from the Dem....

I was called the other night for a political survey and I played along. When it got to the questions that concerned me the most I started letting loose. I could tell what party they favored by the tone of the questions.

How did I rate congress, how did I rate the president as far as approval, what were my opinions on the current gun debate. I was polite but I expressed my views and it was not what they wanted to hear...

I ended the call by telling her I felt the President should be impeached for failing to uphold his oath of office and why.....

I most likely want be on their call list again any time soon...:D

The problem lies with the agreement to use UNION Prof readers and Union printers.
