Whelp about 2 inches of ice on the driveway covered now by 4 inches of snow. Impossible to shovel that ice off...it will be above freezing again here on Monday.

I imagine it would bring back childhood memories

We were in that Major ice storm up there in NY October 1987 .We were out of power for 21 Days. Finally on day 21 my old man had enough. He called one of his friends (who at that time) was in charge of the Governors security. He gave my dad the Governors private phone number LOL.....Not 2 hours later 4 Central Hudson Power truck showed up.One hour later...we had power :)

RTR yes Indeed that was very bad. We ended up throwing all the food away
Lost power this morning but it came back a few hours later
I put a tarp on top of the car last night and today there’s
3 to 4 inch blocks of frozen snow and ice on it ..that’s a first for me
You are the smart one to relocate as I had numerous chances when I was making computer chips at IBM but family wanted to stay here
It’s good to hear from you and hope all is well

Thankfully i had underground electric installed when we built our house
The tree companies over the last few years have been busy removing branches over the wires and that’s helping some
