Good evening fellow detectorists .Decided I need a fix today so I went back to my favorite spot to do a little hunting. Even though I have hunted this area pretty thorough this summer ,I'm sure there is stuff I have missed as was the case today.I have not be there for a while because of the hurricane Ike wind damaged that ravaged parts of Ohio. The ground is bone dry even at 8 inches but I still managed to find this mint 1920 Lincoln cent. This is the second Wheaties I have found there. I have found more pre-1900 coins there than newer stuff. Don't know why. :icon_scratch: When I saw it fall out of the dirt I was sure it was another Patina colored Indian.... my heart raced until I saw the wheat stalks on the back. Still a nice treat. I aways enjoy making your reading entertaining so I always take plenty of pics. Enjoy until next time Ron Smith

I'm going to as long as I can. With the recent damage and winter comming I doubt they will sell it. It's not even on the market right now

Your a LUCKY man Jarhead ...

Man a righteous place indeed ...

Is it "that" bad ... from the pics it looks fixable ... ???

Yes. The main damage was the roof. It will have to be totally re-done. Trees are trees and nothing you can do about them. As far as the old corn crib, it's a loss.
