I scored this oil on board from the same gentleman as my earlier post. I like this one better, as it has more color and has a little abstract in it. This one was a little more challenging to to decide, as the frame is newer, and it looks like a reproduction from WM based on the frame. The gentleman told me that he had had it framed after I inquired about it. When I got home I tore the paper on the back, took off the cardboard backing, and I was very pleasantly surprised with the label and writing on the board. It turns out that it's an original oil on board by Hungarian artist Zalavary Miklos, b.1929 d. 1981.

I paid $10 for the painting, and $1 for the watch. It actually works!

I like the painting a lot. Interesting to see how his style changed over the years. I think this painting will sell well. It seems like something that would go for $1,000 or more in a gallery. IMHO, the quality is much higher than the other two examples.

Very nice and attractive painting. A bargain.
