ALewis thank for another great day of prospecting and for bring your son and the nephew. They had a blast swimming, launching rocks in the water and made a great digging crew. Hope you got a good amount. Thanks to Todd and Chris for building the fine Bazooka products. We ran the Prospector and the Supermini. Was way easier than all that classifying going on across the river. Good Gold to all.

Great gold! Good job guys

Thanks TGP. It was cool on the river with a slight breeze and a little overcast. Perfect for prospecting. Just waiting now to see what ALewis got and planning the next adventure. May go to the NF as it hit 28 cfs today. Should be able to one hop over it by the end of August.

Awesome pan shot guys. I bet that Bazooka really kills the gold! I know it's good there with a pan only but yet to Zook it up myself. Maybe we should take the long hike up my secret spot next month. Should be some killer low flow days!

Looks like no scheduled releases on Sundays in October. I feel heavy pans may be upon us! Can I help you carry that 30"? My 48" is too buff for me to haul.

Aufisher You have an open invitation to go anytime! I have some days off in August ifn you can make the late summer run. The NF hit 28cfs yesterday. You know what that means. Looking forward to some prospecting with you and ALewis buddy.

Never trust release schedules as the rafters are the ones being accomadated. Lost a great friend there below Coloma as water rises VERY fast and adios ----John

John. Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. It is a dangerous game we play even with the best of planning and vigilance. Stay safe.

The thanks has to go to you Mojo ! I am happy to dig w/ you anytime.
In my haste to clean out last night I mixed my take from our last (2) trips together, but oh well...just looks like more now, :icon_thumleft:

HUGE thanks for letting me run that 30". I keep threatening to upgrade to an OG Bazooka, thought the 36" for sure, but that 30" kept up just fine, and then some. Was great to see it fit in my pack.

My son and I floated down some rapids, small set, as he tried to cross to a sand bar....And my Nephew has not stopped asking if he can bring a life jacket and boogie board next time, so he can "run the rapids" I'm sure my sister will love that story.....Good times for Sure !

Quite a few chunky pieces! Great job gentlemen, yet again :)

Sorry to hear about your friend HJ.

that is some quality looking gold there people! Nice work!

Don't worry about the flow releases.......we are in for a wet fall....i've already sensed it....last edge of the low pressure that came over felt like fall.......I think its gonna be a good one fellas:thumbsup:

GW, i sure hope so,Farmers sure can use it. but the truth is i have my fingers crssed for a light winter. NOAA was saying that this nino may not pack the punch as predicted, heck what do they know, Meteorologist can't predict the weather two days out, thanks to Al gore and M Moore and the empty headed followers ABC, CBS, MSNBC, NBC, etc Al Gore Forecasted ?Ice-Free? Arctic by 2013; Ice Cover Expands 50%
one of many reasons we be not dredgin, got all the nut case's running for higher grounds and screaming the sky is falling

I am hoping the first rain is a rip tearing gully washer that sends rocks and mudslides down the slopes and bedrock shredding torrents down the rivers and creeks.

Great gold guys! Man that pan lot up my screen at night, almost had to keep my hand over my eyes because of the brightness. Looks like you guys had some fun.
