I went back to the beach where I found a gold earring last week and after a 3 1/2 hour hunt I came away with a 14k gold bracelet weighing in at 3.1 grams. My clad take was down significantly so I think I'll let this beach alone for the winter. Maybe the winter winds will work a little magic on the beach and move a little more sand around. Here's a picture for you. zz61.png

Thanks for looking and responding everyone. Good luck to you all.

Did you find that at Jones Beach? I was there yesterday, sanded in, not many targets. Congrats on the awesome gold!!

No I didn't find it at Jones Beach. I was in Suffolk Co. What beach do you usually work at on Jones Beach? Do you work the water or the dry sand? I can usually be found at or around field 4. I wear the same picture of my avatar on my baseball cap. Come by and say hello. I primarily work the dry sand but I will work the wet sand in the winter.

Thanks to everyone for the nice comments.
