After hunting parks all last week and finding only clad and trash, I got a wild hair to go search the desert. Looking for places people camped at years ago by finding campfire rock circles where the charcoal is long washed away, I came upon a spot where my first two signals were some crusty wheat cents.
The next target was the 1944 Washington quarter. After a few trash items I got a solid 46 on the Legend. Figuring it was another wheat or possibly a dime, I was shocked to see this yellow beauty pop out!
It has Playboy logos on each shoulder, but the face image I can't seem to make out. Also, it has two stamps on the inside that I can't decipher either.
It weighs 7 grams and tested 22k or better (22k acid is the highest I have).
Any ideas on the image or the hallmarks would be much appreciated.
