IMG_0435.JPG I hunted another of the many forgotten, overgrown baseball fields that have been converted to soccer. Dug the ordinary clad stuff....35 coins worth $5.44 and many of these clad were DEEP.....5-7 inches and they didn't clean up too well but money is money.

Nice job, congrats! :occasion14:

It all adds up. I just keep throwing them in a pail till it’s full. Then roll em up and take them to the bank. Congrats

Beats a good day at work, nice digs!!

Looks like a good day for ya Ed. Congrats and keep piling up that clad. Wtg!

Nice coin shootin' Clad2Silver .. ya dun good!

Tumble that clad. They will turn out fine.

Good job Ill tell you around here silver is hard to find but I find tons of clad just to make it more fun I got huge mason jars for pennies nickels dimes and quarters and had a count for how many on each jar to make it more fun to find them. Till the better 7/8s needed me to cash em in for the kids and bills eeerrrrr I still have my totals Ill fill them back up soon but there not the originals. Anyway clad is good plus each one dug theres a chance at a silver coin.. Love this hobby and great post keep rippin my friend Tommy

Thanks Hawks....clad isn't glamorous but it can be spent so I'll take all I can get.

Actually I tumbled them before taking the picture...some of the coins came out OK but quite a few are still kind of rusty looking. No matter though, the coin machine will take them.

Thanks Tommy....you're absolutely right when you say that there's always a chance the coin might be a silver one. Digging the clad keeps the fun in the hobby.

$ is $- absolutely- Congrats!

Your so right there. $ is $. i detected a field next to a home coming game last year and must of had some kind of booth. I found many quarters just laying on the ground the next day.

Thanks...….

Thanks Tom...…..I do that same thing at a field that has an annual beer fest and there's always loose change on the ground where the beer booth was.

Nothing wrong with dirty money, it all spends the same when cleaned up! Good job!

Thanks BlueSky…...Totally agree that it's all spendable so there's no complaints from me.
