Hello all! Just wanted to drop a line and introduce myself. I have been a long time reader of the fourms and enjoy history and am amazed with all the cool finds and stories here. I am going to be getting a detector soon, possibly a Garret Ace 250 as it seems to be a good entry level machine. My ex-father in law has been into the hobby for years and he has slowly been pulling me over.... I hope to start this great hobby soon!

Thank you Jeff! I honestly am so excited, I cant wait to get a detector of my own! I went out on a hunt with my Ex-father in law for a few hours and I was hooked. He has a couple of Tesoro's and higher end Bounty Hunters, so I hope I'm not spoiled with higher end equipment ha-ha! He's worked up to those models over the years with all the stuff hes found though as I plan too!
