Went out for a quick trip to terrorize :D a local picnic grove/boy scout camp in the (what seemed like) 900 degree heat. The kiddies were on vacation with mom and I had some alone time!! Also there's only so much work one can do at the house in this heat.

Walked around finding plenty of clad, a couple of wheat's and a 46 nickel.
It wasn't until I ran out of water and started heading back to the truck that I found these two catholic pendants (the firsts), a button back(that I can't quite make out all the letters on) and a nice 42 merc with a nasty scratch.

Very hot, very short hunt and some rough diggin because of the lack of rain........But well worth it.

Anyone know anything about the pendants....they're very light no silver markings but they look very silver?

Enjoy and thanx for lookin

I've found many like yours that were aluminum, given away at church. Nice finds though, I'll stick to my water in that heat. Aloha

Way to go on the Merc and wheat's. It's plenty hot down here too. Digging is more like prying a clod out, and then checking your clod. Good thing is, clods go right back in place like a piece in a puzzle. Way to go!

the pendant first one, has a stamp on it can't make it out.Ko-something
