Forgive me guys but I am totally clueless when it comes to anything that
goes boom. Guns, ammo, etc.

I really didn't think this was anything more than scrap until somebody
asked the question. Now, I just don't know what to think.

Thanks for any help.

Sorry it isn't

Oh my! Don't be sorry!! I'm really glad it isn't! I hadn't even
thought of it until someone else asked! Then, it kinda scared me. Ya know? LOL

Thanks!

I see where's there is a GONDA Metal Co. located in Japan (established 1918). Maybe they provided the raw product cylinder and another company built their product utilizing it. But what is it?

Looks like a lead bar for soldering.

Is there visible evidence of a broken off threaded stud that I havepointed out in the attached screen capture? The photo isn't clear on my cell but I can add my guess as an arrow point or soldering iron tip.

It could be GONDA but I read it as CONDA. :dontknow:

Does seem a bit heavy but, not quite like lead. Non-magnetic though.

That piece is too small and too crumbly to be sure, but it might have been a thread, Arrow point or soldering iron tip might fit too. Sure seems to have been in the ground a while though. :dontknow:

Thanks for the help. But, we may never know. :)
