went back to 2 old pounded sites and worked them for 8 hours.not many targets left but I squeeked out a few keepers.
The Lid with holes in it and the cloak or dandy button were amongst a ton of nails on the cellar hole lip.a real old pocket knife. the floral one piece button has a Ive's Scott co superfine backmark and the beat 1803 draped bust large cent was in the trail going up to a second cellar hole. 9 1/2 coppers on the new year.what a great winter it's been.watch it fella's the ticks are still active! :angry5:

nice finds,,, i found my button today with a garden rake :tongue3:

I like it :icon_thumright: Great dig's!!

love the b/m on that flower button Dave, never seen it anywhere :headbang:

After your copper total from 2011 Dave, I didn't think you had a sniff of a chance to top it in 2012. However, you are off to another big copper count. The knife I dug on the left side of the combined finds from the Trio hunt today looks a lot like the one you found regarding shape. Mine did have a shield just like one in Crouch's CW relic book that was from England. HH, Q.

I really like the unusual design on the dandy, but that Ives Scott button threw me for a loop. Looking at the design on the front, I would have expected a 1790's button with no backmark, not an 1830's Ives Scott!

Sweet finds!

All the best,

Lanny

Sweet dude, you're doing awesome!

Great button and copper. Congrats.

Been huntin in PA a lot and have brought home 3 ticks myself so I know what you mean Keep the faith and HH

Nice haul man, love the flower button!
