Spent about 7 hours out at the battlefield the other day, and here are the results. Just like the last few times, multiple bullets were eyeballed just sitting on top of the ground. Some nice pieces of shrapnel showed up, as well as what seems to be an entrenching tool. Unsure what those brass pieces are, maybe part of a scabbard? Also unsure if that irregularly shaped object is bone or not. It is non-metallic and is too light to be a rock.

Awesome digs! It is so hard to find CW sites like that anymore. Most have been picked clean.

The 'bone' object looks ceramic to me. Need more pics from different angles. Post in the 'What is it?' forum.

That's a great spot. Like DC Matt said, you are lucky to have it. Congrats on some great finds and keep us posted.

Congrats!! the one brass/copper thingy reminds me of a Burnside cartridge; flattened ofcourse

Awesome site you've got there. Very rare these days to find a site where relics are still sitting on the surface.
