Not a bad day today. This site just keeps on giving. Major shoutout to the property owner. I also found some blade fragments that I didn’t feel the need to photograph. That Bolen base stung, still waiting for a nice whole one. Also that the left notch was damaged by me. I’m kicking myself over and over right now, this is the first artifact I’ve caused any real damage to. Any tips dealing with on site storage of finds appreciated. The bolens are paper thin around these parts. Beautiful Kirk point as well. Last photo is a piece of debitage but I’ll be damned if it isn’t the prettiest material I’ve ever seen in my life, to find a point made from it would be amazing image.jpg23BEEB53-F8D7-46A6-9FD9-035F3613CED6.jpegC8C97DA9-CF70-4E20-BF22-D3B509C7956D.jpeg

I'm gonna guess Florida from the looks of the dirt, vegetation and the shape of that Bolen base. I'm gettin' fired up seeing you fired up!

Nice finds , I usually keep a bandanna on me for any real nice ones I find ... wrapped in that and sometimes I’ll take a sunglasses case to keep them in just in case any smokers lol

That gorgeous material is not debitage in my opinion - hopefully somebody else chimes in on this - I think it's a very nice flake tool or stock for smaller super-thin points.

It's clearly superior material and I doubt any NA would waste a piece like that.

Also it looks like a clean original strike from a core.

Any chance of more pics? Because it's hard to tell the thickness, but if it's nice and thin, I think I'm correct.

Also how big a piece would a blade have to be to create a flake that size as bi-product?

Whatever it is, it's beautiful.

Wow those are some great display pieces there Well done

Welcome to tnet also

Nice finds for sure. That flake could have been used just as it was struck off the core. Very common in Florida to find them. His finds are from Folrida. Bens on a roll finding great stuff!

Here are more pics of the flake. It not very thin. Probably a half inch image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgin thickness at its widest. It also appears to have oxidized a bit since being out of the ground. What do y’all think?

The points are patinated heavily but that beautiful flake not much.....and it would seem to me that it is heat treated to have those stunning colors. Lordy it's purdy.
Newnans sometimes come out like that but those earlier Bolens and Kirks are almost always heavily patinated just like yours (if dug).
