So I go Back to the park where I went yesterday and found those 2 rings. So I got my work done last night and headed on the hour drive thinking I’m gonna find more rings...yeah right. I know rookie mistake. I pulled tabs for 3 hours and not a high tone the hole time excepts a 1950 wheatie and a clad dime the rest little pieces of aluminum and pull tabs. Ugggggh brutal...I got so lucky yesterday. So I’m leaving a defeated man with understanding of OF COURSE I’M NOT GOING TO FIND MORE RINGS 2 DAYS IN A ROW. So on the way home pulled over to all lot that had the grass cut but still 3” off the dirt so up put on my funder and went and took a shot I’ve never found any thing there either but what the hell. About 30 minutes into it I thought maybe there was something wrong with the coil so I buried a clad quarter about 8 inches down and checked it worked ok broken up but digable if you went slow so that’s what I did. NOT 2 minuets later REDEMPTION!! It’s belong a while BIG SILVER!! A nice detailed 1957 D Washington...ahhhh it felt great! I tell you, on that hour ride home, I was treating it like a Reales. That's how you do it!

Nice find. Maybe you came up with a new coin. We can call it the Frankshington !

love that silver tone! sweet sound congrats

Dang you had to train your machine to get it back in line to find that silver Q. maybe mine needs a refresher course. :tongue3:

Congrats on the silver GW/BF...our new hybrid silver! I know the feeling, couple weeks ago, last outing, was checking out a new area at an old permission. I'm pretty sure I found their old shooting range...bullet after bullet, slugs out the wazoo...shotgun heads by the dozen...and how those huge deer slugs ring up! I was cold, tired...and on the way out I checked over by a group of old maple trees...and plucked me a shiny Merc. REJUVENATED! Congrats, those big silvers are my fave...that tone is literally music to the ears...Ddf
