A totally different perspective.
Went to a favorite park today, hoping to improve on my zincoln from yesterday.
I walked out, tuned in and told my AT that I expected him to do better than the last time out. LOL
My very first good hit? 85 ! I smiled, yeah! This is better! What I got? :
Hmmmmm, "screwed" again! LOL
AND, some of you do not believe they have a personality! LOL
At least it was solid brass. LOL
For that person who was out in this field at night and took the cap off their
flashlight and then lost it, they can pick it up anytime. Just call ahead.
The lil flower thing was a REAL bear to find AFTER I dug it up! Kept chasing it around with
the pinpointer! The tooth pick thru it is to show that it's made hollow.
A completely toasted whole wheat.
Funny how a wheatie can toast up so severely and yet, an older "V" nickel can come out looking this good.
And, finally, the star of the day, for me.
Never gets old! Seeing a silvery, reeded edge shining up at you from a fresh dug plug.
Now, I know this looks like I must have cleaned and polished this up. But, all I did was rinse it
and very lightly brush the dirt away. It came up shining like this.
There was some confusion in the carpool though.
Two rides showed up today.
Yep, the difference a day makes. LOL
Nice!
Thanks for peeking!
