Hi all,
For the 2nd trip in a row Knorrski found a beautiful condition mercury dime!At the same school we thought had nothing of value. We found 2 wheats and a small handful of clad as well. Was at a private yard that I had hit a few times and got a solid 80-81 on my MXT at about 4 in. deep and i knew it had to be silver and i was right. It was a sterling silver spoon ring in great condition.Besides the beautiful artwork it says Mexico around the band.

Wow, that is a nice ring. The merc is in really nice condition as well. I would say that's a few nice keepers for a day's work. You just never know in this hobby.

Nice job, silver is fun to dig no matter what form it is in, We had a club hunt last Sunday and I ended up with 160 silver dimes, 8 were merc. also got 14 siver quarters, 2 were barber's. One walking liberty, and one Franklin half.
