Another culvert question

Go to the mouth of the entry end and exit end and get what you can reach.
That's about all you can do. :icon_sunny:

That's good, Jog lol!
I would suggest fitting a high pressure washer with a loooong handle and forcing the sludge down to the far end where a collection system collects it. TTC

I made up a vac last year for cracks and crevises. Have had thoughts on culverts and thought I might try a PVC pipe extensions for my nozzle. Haven't tried it, so don't know if'n it would work??????

Good point John :icon_thumleft:

The only gold I have found in one was inside a big one, the corrugated kind big enough to walk in that had been there a long time and through some floods. I was also surprised how hard it was to dig through the compacted sand mud clay overburden to get down to the bottoms of the riffles.

If the pipe isn't level with, or lower than the source, then you are wasting your time inside, as John indicated any appreciable gold would have been trapped in the lower area before the entrance.
