Last month I watched the show Diggers and they dug up some old harmonica reeds.. less than an hour later I go out with the kids to our local hotspot and sure enough, dug 2 harmonica reeds.
So the other night they are on the Oregon trail and they dig up an engraving type plate, with the reverse lettering.. and guess what I just dug today
yep you guess it... i'm hoping the 3rd time is the charm and I hit gold or something big,,,
THis stamp I found is from Crane Bliss Hardware in Newark Ohio.. it dates 1915 or earlier,,,they had a name change in 1916 I believe, and were formerly something else earlier than that..
Also found a heavy ornate looking FROG head, looks like a cover for a bottle since it has some sort of eye hole hinge protruding from the back..
