Another buckle

Very plain little buckle but seems to be in pretty good shape. Anybody know if it’s old? It rang up just like silver on my Safari but it looks to be copper or brass. Found on my civil war permission near my house.

Nice buckle but looked at some buckle examples I've acquired and didn't see anything. My guess is early 1900, maybe late 1800's.
