Did a 6 hour hunt yesterday morning at an old local park. Found my first cache of sorts, a buried can full of metal, plastic and glass buttons that looked to be old. The can fell apart while digging it up but had this cool silver eagle pin, unknown military pin and the small brass key inside. These plus the 3 silver and 1 gold plated rings made up for me only finding clad coins. Oldest was only a 1960 penny. This was one of my best hunts ever and I can't wait to go back for more!

A nice day's hunt no matter what detector was used.

Sweet a small "Cache" or "Time- Capsule" someone buried !! :occasion14: Hope to find one here someday !

Anyone have an idea of what military uses the winged dagger badge I found? Does not look U.S. to me. Thought it was the French Foreign Legion but theirs is slightly different. Thanks!

Good hunt.
I found a gold plated eagle pin identical to yours back in March.

What's the difference between the garrett at pro and the garrett at gold?

Never seen that badge before. If its military, it's not U.S.

Very nice hunt!

The AT Gold with the smaller coil hits and locks on targets extremely hard! Rings, clad and relics don't stand a chance! :icon_thumleft:

Keep up the good work - GL & HH
