So I had some play time today and decided to go to my USA site and try to get some more USA buttons. I dug a coin that said "Not One Cent" on it. I had just recently dug a large cent that was not a large cent but an 1838 Anti-slave token. That was two weeks ago and 40miles away. Now? Another anti slave token. Also found were some pewter coat buttons and some type of lead disc. It looks like it hung from something or maybe a necklace?? Any ideas?

Congrats on the nice finds! :icon_thumleft:

Congrats on the find.

I wonder if it could have been repurposed into a belt buckle? Those look like solder points.

even though it's holed, that's an awesome find

Wow...you seem to be 'in the zone' for anti-slave tokens! :occasion14:

The lead disc is a pendulum weight from an old clock. I found one exactly like yours when digging at a 1900s bottle pit a few weeks ago. When I get a chance I'll post some pictures.
