Dug about the usual amount of clad this year, just shy of $120.00. So off to my local coin show to turn it into something with a little more shine. I purchased two 2015 US silver eagles and a generic 5 ounce silver bar. The Christmas eve first was a kayak outing with my wife this afternoon. We not only broke the record high temperature of 53 today, it was shattered by hitting a high of 71 here !!! Unbelievable for my part of NY. Also about to set a record for the latest snowfall with none of the ground as of yet !!! Merry Christmas and Happy holidays to all out there on Treasurenet !

Nice reward for all the digging! Can't believe these temps! It's 60+ up here in Maine! Couple more days to dig. Merry Christmas and Happy Hunting

I have been saving my clad up for a new machine when i decide to buy one. Nice job on the silver purchase

Great exchange! !
And a nice way to enjoy the weather.
Merry Christmas Ed.

Yah did good with the clad exchange Ed, kayaking in December who would have ever thought. :dontknow:

I like your thought process. I do the same thing. At the end of the year I take all the junk money & convert to silver.

Excellent exchange and escape to lake! Merry Christmas. Sub 8-)

Nice exchange for the clad, and getting out to do a little kayaking at this time of the year. We had 65F temps early today as well and really unheard of at this time of the year. Looks like Tuesday we'll be getting our first dump of up to 10" of the lovely white _____! Happy holidays

ED MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR MISS . ALL WE HAVE IN MY PART OF THE STATE IS WARM WITH RAIN , RAIN , RAIN ..

Visiting family in Putnam County.
This weather allowed me to get in a hunt today and maybe again tomorrow.
Congrats on your "Clad to Silver" conversion.

Nice going on the silvers. It was around 70 here too today. I would have liked a kayak trip too, but we have the sit on top models and ya get wet. I am thinking the water temp on the Susquehanna would feel more like December lol.

Congratz on your conversion.
720 in upstate NY On Christmas Eve ..WOW!

We broke Hi temp records here in Atlanta Ga ,Also & Expect to for the next couple day's. + Much Rain.
Merry Christmas

40's and still digging in Michigan, in Dec.:hello2: I turn all my clad into Morgan Silver Dollars, since I can't find one

Good trade.
This is the warmest Dec 24-25th I've ever witnessed, here in Nova Scotia it will be 50F today.
I will take the beeper out for a spell, after turkey, just to say I did so.

glad to know it isn't just us deep south residents riding this current heat wave!!!

but if you put any stock in the farmers almanac they are calling for unseasonably warm temps for the beginning of winter with record low temps for the south east later in the winter.......but that stuff is far from an exact science, so who knows?!?!?:dontknow:

as far as the silver, I personally think it is a great time to invest in silver, it's hovering around 14/15 an oz and a few years back it was up around $45, I don't know what (or who???) controls the market, but I could see it going up again, and when it does, I will sell it all.....I am stockpiling the best I can right now:laughing7: gave silver spoon rings to all my family for xmas this year and kept every bit of scrap for the treasure chest:occasion14:

Love the idea of a clad exchange. Merry Christmas
