9tailsfox,

Welcome to Treasure Net !!

Before it can be evaluated it needs to be authenticated.
What is its provenance? Is it allegedly a plate once owned by that person? What evidence exists that supports that possibility versus another possibility that it is either a replica or a modern commemorative?

Don.......

I found this on a website where this owner want to sell it. but the price from Malaysia convert to USD 663,346.85 and is negotiable.well you can meet him with bring along someone expert that can tell this is a genuine item. This plate have been founded somewhere at south china sea nearby to Kelantan(Malaysia) offshore. I don't think someone would sell this if it is a replica. So what do you think?

Way too trusting. Yea someone would try and sell you a fake it happens everyday. The whole plate makes me wary. I dont think the lady had her name and life span engraved on her plates as you may well know. Ask the seller for paperwork and as much info as possible. Like the Naruto handle.

Wow thanks for the reply. You watched Japan Anime series. Cool. yeah I like naruto too haha. But I need some expert here that can tell this thing possible is a genuine base on those picture. But I wonder how this thing drop in the sea that near Malaysia? some hidden history that she being South East Asia? maybe you are right why the lady had her name and life span engraved

Have to figure Australia and New Zealand were part of England at one time. Lot of wealthy people migrated that way and there were other British territories in the neighborhood. Ill keep looking to see what I can find.

The artist is the key here. Max LeVerrier is a famous art deco artist from late 20's and 30's. He made the famous statue of the woman holding lighted ball the most well known art deco style. He lived 1891-1973 and has a lot of work on some auctions sites including Ebay. I dont see any of his work going for that much. One plate went for a couple of hundred dollars. Unless its solid gold and its not I see a bronze stamp and you said hes negotiable but I think hes just on the other side of insane for a price like that. good luck
