Animal with it's foot in a trap

I posted this a while back along with other things and I never really got any bites...... any ideas??

What's the size? Looks like a pinback button. My guess is a trapper or fur trader button.

That may be the metal top off of an old bottle of Fox or Coyote scent, it most likely had a cork stopper glued to the bottom which has disintegrated over the years.

It measures exactly 1 inch in diameter. Good suggestions, though

I agree with Keystone..........top off an old scent bottle used in trapping, very old and very cool!
