Depth of token (3.5mm or 1/8") - Visible on edge is the text G. Lummiss (may be more, but edge looks like it has been clamped there)

Width of token (36.5mm or 1 7/16")

The token weighs about 28g or 1oz

Looks like am old guardian angel token, these typically have an inspirational quote, or church name on the back. I would try laying a piece of paper over it and doing a pencil rubbing to see if it is more readable.

I thought about that. The back we think says "The great" on the first line, and the second last word on the bottom looks like 'will' or 'kill' but the rest is unintelligible.

WW1 victory medal with the ribbon attachment removed (we think).
