I HAD PICKED UP THIS HEAVY LITTLE ROCK THINKING IT MIGHT BE A METEORITE, I TOOK IT IN AND HIT IT WITH A TOOTH BRUSH TO REMOVE THE RED CLAY. OMG AND NOW THE BAD NEWS- THE SHED LEAKED THE PAPER WITH THE SITE LOCATION GOT WET, IT HAD BEEN OUT THERE 8 YEARS, I ONLY HUNTED THE SITE THAT ONE TIME, I NEVER COULD FIND IT AGAIN:BangHead:

now thats a nice little find there,im always getting stuff that i was not looking for but nothing like that

It happens to all of us. I felt the same way when I found a 14K ring and my finds bag turned upside down in the water and I lost it.

Thats nothing, one day I was hunting and finding some good flint. Every piece I found I put in a small bad I had tied to my belt. The bag was like a plastic grocery bag. I got done and went back to my truck and untied the bag. Dang one of the sharper pieces made a whole in the bag and you can guess from there.
