Found this last Saturday at yard sale around 2 in the afternoon. Guy had it laying out in the yard and I asked how much. He said $3. How many unknowing goobers walked around this all morning and did not have a light bulb go off over their head. Amazing!
60's Pop Art Swag Lamp. That is a glass globe. About 18 inches tall. Perfect working condition. I really dig it!

HH All!

but do you have lectricity back in that holler?

I love Tennessee

Some of these Ingo Maurer Pop Art Light Bulb Lamps only sell for around 90 bucks like the most common metallic color ones. Others with the painted versions go for a few hundred bucks.

Never seen this color before, I have seen them with stars before and one with stars and a moon even, which sold at a gallery for 1700 Euro.

Any collector I met along this taste was also big on Andy Warhol.

3 bucks is a heck of a deal, and congrats to you.

Thanks for the info. Actually the stars are stickers and I assumed they were added on later. There is also a moon sticker with eyes that made a smiley face figure. Your knowledge of the piece pointed me in a right direction and am currently pursuing further information on said object.

Thanks again...
