So this morning it's over cast and cloudy with a prediction of rain but I feel the need to go dirt fishing.....First it is cooler, 2nd the ground is still wet from the previous rain (and I'm told that conductivity is better in moist ground) and 3rd the ground is a little easier dug after a rain. I was able to get into a local school since they are all off today and found a wheat penny dated 1918D along with small sliver ring with a red stone and marked RJ 825. The other odd thing I found was a painted medallion of unknown origin, along with approximately $5 change. WoW my second hunt this week and found some different stuff....I love this hobby. Every time you dig a signal it's like opening a Christmas package each dig.
Good luck out there and may God Bless you with safety, finds, family, friends and fun.
