Every day I go back the old fair grounds continues to keep giving up more silver. I've also included a few pics if the grounds.

You need to hit that place when the ground is nice and damp.

Nice spot, Place looks like it can last you a few months, pound it to death ;)
Are your silver's showing up like penny signals with all the dry dirt?

They are saying we are finally going to get a good rain tonight so I'll be back first thing in the morning.

I've got into the habit if just listening to the sounds from the Etrac and never even pay any attention to the numbers its giving me...bad habit I know and I'm trying to break myself from it.

The small building in the picture is from what I have been told is one if the barracks from when an Illinois infantry unit was using the grounds for training during the Civil War.

I don't know if that's a bad habit or not. I do the same thing.

Forgot to mention...out of all that ground in the picture I haven't found any silver besides in one area. This is something I just can't seem to figure out. I've talked with numerous people over the years and they all have told me nothing much about the grounds has changed over the last 100 years. So why is it I'm finding all this silver just in one area.

Possible a spot where all the concession stands stood.
