Some of you have heard of it but recently ISIS destroyed Hatre and many more ancient sites. It just made me want to cry and really depressed me. It's sad that those places have been destroyed, once they are gone they are gone for good and can't be enjoyed or studied ever again.

Just wanted to share that.
 

This may sound stupid to you but that's how i feel every time I see a bulldozer go into a woods. When they are through nothing can live on that land but grasshoppers. It takes 100 years to regrow the forest!

Totally agree with you. It sucks that people will destroy and entire woods for development. I know of a conservation land the government bought for commercial housing. It made me pretty sad.
 

Selective logged forests look like a park when done properly. Out here in the West, we hardly log anymore, we just let the forests burn up....that is what looks ugly!!
