Detector(s) used
Nox 800 AT Max, Mine lab se pro/ Teknetics 7500 / teknetics 8000 / fisher m-scope (aquanut) 1280x/2ea compass relic magnum 6 /compass yukon 77b (professional) /compass yukon 71b
I found the ring very deep at the old high school site in Texas. It read in the gold range on the mine lab pro and later read in the gold range on the old teknetics 8000. it feels heavy 4GR. it's not magnetic and came out a silver/white gold color when cleaned and has no markings on the inside.

I just got a gold testing kit and after making the line on the stone, I put the 22K acid on it and the acid did not dissolve the line at all. According to the kit, the ring is 22K or higher. I wonder if the Roman numerals stand for 2320 BC? or what.

perhaps the markings are decorative in nature, crudly done.

If someone marked it in 2320 BC, how would they know what a BC date was? :laughing7: I'm guess it's homemade or a defaced ring.
