Found in the mountains overlooking the Dead Sea.

We showed it to a Hebrew expert (and archaeologist at the same time). He said it talks about the story of Moses, Judaism, then start of Christianity with Jesus, and how some Jews converted to become Christian.
Something interesting he said, then we verified professionally: the leather front and back (bound with the 19 inside sheets with hair) are much older than the 19 sheets; the 400 to 500 year old estimate is for the 19 sheets, not the front and back. All leather.
Also, it was hand written by more than one person.
We asked about value estimate; the expert said: $500k at least.
Nice, right?

Two more sheets for your own pleasure: one shows a gate, and the other clearly shows Moses with his staff then snake..... (the professional who inspected it said there is something hidden below the drawing of the gate), the expert said (this is the gate of the House of Lord):

This is a find you do not see posted every day. Very cool!

Very interesting and historic find, congratulations! :occasion14:

WHOA! That is beyond cool. Having disclosed the "law" of treasure hunting in your region I hope you are able to keep this find on the down low. One of those things I probably would have kept under wraps myself considering it's age, historical significance, and value. Be careful my friend. Certainly grateful for your posts but, I'd hate to see some squad of government goons come for your stuff or worse. Peace.

Hi So if this such a great treasure why do you have your grubby dirty finger on one of the pages ? TP

It came from dirt, cleaned with air from a distance. You can't keep it open without fixing it with your "grubby dirty" fingers. Besides; the finders aren't professional historic book keepers; how would an ordinary man take photos of the sheets other than holding them down with his "grubby dirty" fingers?

Many thanks for all the nice comments and advices. BTW; there are more than one country with mountains overlooking Dead Sea.
