Anchor button ID

Found this two piece button at a old homestead. Built in 1786 and used until the 1950's. the back if completely gone. Somehow I only found the front and the shank so I don't have any backmarks. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

looks Japanese...
it is not a Japanese naval button...but...the form of the anchor is correct...
