I was down at an antique store and I came across this cool sword. When I saw it I thought it might be a US cavalry sword, maybe from around 1812. Closer inspection revealed that it had no identifying marks that I could find and the price tag only read "Sword $450". The owner didn't seem to know much about it. The booth also offered 30% off for cash payment, so I wouldn't mind buying it if it is actually worth something. So, what do you all think, is it worth buying or is it a piece of junk?
