Is his stuff worth anything? And any idea how old? I love both of them and got them free. I am not into chairs but that, what appears to be a hamper, sure looks like it would really look super after stripping it, staining it with some oak stain and finishing it up with some satin (semi-gloss) finish! But hey, what do I know... :)

I've seen chairs like that at a flea markets for around 25 to 35 bucks and sometimes for more. The hamper, I'm guessing 35 bucks max imo, but these kind of items are all in who's really wanting to have it and what their willing to pay. The chair made between 1890s to 1910s The hamper I'm gonna say 1940s to early 1950s.
