An old Schrader tire valve?? Have you ever found one of these?

This piece is only about an inch long. It says Schrader made in USA 9253, in older looking letters. I only found one thing on Google and it doesn't show a picture. I am trying to figure out how old it is and what it was used for. Thanks!

Many tractor tires can be filled with air like your cars tires, or water for balance and traction. The piece you found would have been the adapter for the actual valve to be mounted on the tire.
