An Old Fishin Hole

It was nice this afternoon & I got about 4 hours in. Hit an old fishin hole firdst. Yep !! Guess what I found? Fishin stuff. three lures, about a dozen led weights, two spent bullets, two loaded 22 shells, a dozen empty 22 & other shells, a few old shotgun shell heads & a load of pull tabs. I move on to a favorite park in our small city. Found 1 quarter, one nickel, one dime & 8 pennies. Everything 4 to 5 inched deep & nothin old. Another ton of junk. Three young boys got a free demo on finding a penny & were surprised at the junk. All in all, it was a great day. I haven't got my digital back from my daughter yet so sorry, no pix. Spotz

Yeah! It is however a Fedreal Game Refuge! There were deer tracks all over & one set of cougar tracks too. It is open to bird hunting in the fall. I have fished there off & on for over 50 years. Spotz

Its nice to just be able to get out even if you don't get much. Of course its always good to find the good stuff to.

i find a bunch of fishin stuff where i live, cause they drained a lake and put up homes where i live.
