Well i called the project manager friday & he told me they moving some dirt saturday
i told him i'd be there. The day started at 8 am,as he was loading trucks,he would spread
some dirt out for me to hunt,so needless to say i needed no digging tool......easy.
They ended the day hauling 60 loads out with about 300 to go.I plan on seeing where
their hauling the dirt, anyway here are saturdays finds a general service button, some kind
of tweezers,an old hammer off a rifle,a harriet hubbard ayers makeup case,a 1949 rosie.
an old brass belt buckle and about 5 wheaties that need alot of cleaning before i can even see a date. This is a great site the only clad i've found is 2 dimes & 1 lincoln penny.

From research harriet hubbard was born in 1849,so the make-up case is pretty old.
thanks for viewing

Randall

Oh the things to be found in a dirt pile. Why did our mothers always tell us not to play in them? They can be soo much fun. I hope you find alot more wonderful things. Good luck to you.
