Having been in Saudi Arabia for an extending length of time two foreign contractor-types wanted to go into the nearest town for some R & R, however, it was too far to walk in the extreme heat and no transportation was available from the company car pool.
The car pool foreman told them if they wanted to go to town they could use the camel but needed to bring it back by curfew time.
Curfew time came and went and in straggled the two weary men.
The foreman asked 'Where's the camel?'
One of the men stated that all was going well until they came to a red light in the middle of town.
So we stopped and then someone yelled 'Look at those two A$$holes on the camel', so we got off to look and the light turned green and the camel walked off into the sunset.
