I was wondering if anyone can help me date these items. By the looks of them they look very old. Secondly, I found this round thing that is beveled on one side, and threaded on the other. Could this be a choke to a gun?
The "Mallard" shot shell was made for Sears Roebuck, I'm not sure who made them, but it's probably similar age to the 10 Ga. The threaded ring looks brass? It could possibly be a ferrule from an old brass rifle scope, but it would be hard to prove if it's not marked at all
Retired Fire, that's what I was thinking, but I can't seem to prove it. I searched the internet with no success. The 10 GA head stamp seems to be rare too. I noticed something similar in a 12 GA though.
