i purchused this plastic holder about 16 years ago. It is titled America's Obsolete coin collection. It has a 1943 Lincoln Steel Penny, A 1944 Mercury dime, A 1929 Buffalo Nickel and a 1964 washington quarter. On the back it is types copyright 1995 SSCA. Anyone have an idea, other than the silver melt price, what the price would be for this set? I don't even think with a hammer i could safely get the coins out. It's really thick plastic.

Sincerely, Garoulady

Not much, the dime might be worth $2.20 based on silver, and the quarter might be around $3.00 maybe. The penny isn't worth much (steel), and the nickel might be worth a few bucks.

hey post pics and I'll look at them and let you know what they are worth. The dime, quarter, and cent are good years for varieties, so your coins may bring a premium if I can attribute them as such, but I'd need close pics

The coins may be proofs or in really great condition being encased in plastic. Coinflip will let you know.
